Digoin, river crossroads

Digoin, in the heart of the Charolais region, in Southern Burgundy, is the ideal place to indulge in the tasting of good local produce. Over the centuries, Digoin has become a major centre of earthenware production and is also a town of water.

At the confluence of three canals, it is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts and friends of nature. Along the various canals, you will discover wild spaces, high places of Romanesque art, workshops of craftsmen with great know-how (basket makers, cabinet makers, potters or glass blowers), who will be happy to demonstrate their art to you. You can also take the time to walk on the Canal Bridge, made of cut stone. It is a magnificent piece of architecture that links the Canal du Centre to the Canal Latéral à la Loire.
